Welcome
My name is Natalie and I offer face-to-face counselling based from my practice in Ifield, Crawley as well as online and telephone support for those that are further afield.

I do not underestimate how daunting it can be to consider counselling
It is hard to say to yourself "I cannot do this without help", "I need to talk to someone". You have taken the first step and I hope that you find the information on this website helpful.
I also hope that, whoever you decide to work with, they recognise and acknowledge your courage in seeking someone to walk alongside you as you navigate the challenges you face.
My background
I have had a varied career!
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in management in corporate organisations.
After leaving the hustle and bustle of that world, I set up my own gardening business.
Following an injury, I had to reassess what was important to me, so I retrained to become a counsellor, working with adults.
I have also worked as a volunteer for a local charity supporting the blind and partially sighted and at a local hospice.

For me, there is a symmetry between working in gardens and working with clients. People and plants need support, space and time to help them grow, and that is what I provide. This means that I will be empathic and non-judgemental; ready to listen to whatever it is that you need support with

I have experienced highs and lows in both the corporate world and running my own business. I have also experienced many changes both at work and personally. All of this helps inform the work that I do with my clients.

I have chosen the image of the Iris for my practice because the flower symbolizes hope, faith, wisdom and courage; all things you are already showing by considering counselling.

Whether you choose to contact me or not
I hope that you find the right person to help you develop into the person you want to be.
